Agecroft Hall

Agecroft Hall is a Tudor mansion built in the late 15th Century in England and brought to Richmond, Virginia piece by piece. The house offers historic tours and we love checking out old historic home tours when we get a chance to travel. It has authentic suits of armor, gorgeous furniture and beautiful gardens (next time we are definitely bringing a picnic).

We visited this past October when we went to Richmond, so you can see some fresh pumpkins used in the landscaping. The weather was absolutely perfect!

Visiting historic homes and sites is super inspiring when you are trying to restore your own historic home. Sometimes it is easy to fall into a rut during the renovation process and feel stuck, but I always get a renewed energy to keep trucking along. I love all the little vignettes in Agecroft- they also have a lot of the same Victorian era books that we have (always fun to spot)!
